Millie Bobby Brown, the 19-year-old star of Netflix’s hit show “Stranger Things,” is expressing her gratitude for all that the show has given her, whilst remaining ready to turn her attention to her other passions.
In an interview with Glamour magazine (who named her Woman of the Year), Brown relates her ready-to-leave attitude to graduating high school; “When you’re ready, you’re like, ‘All right, let’s do this. Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here,’”
The modern-day teen star has many other projects to occupy her time; with a production company, a newly published novel, a beauty line ‘Florence by Mills’ and an engagement to Jon Bon Jovi’s son, Jake Bongiovi, there is plenty on her plate.
Brown acknowledges criticism regarding Jones and her being ‘too young to wed’, however she and her partner feel strongly about the decision as “We were modeled wonderful, loving relationships,” she said. “So it’s something that we both had that mutual drive for.”
